Books & Bagels
All members and friends of the congregation are invited to explore the world of Jewish books in a warm and friendly book group that meets on the first Sunday of each month, at a member’s home, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The program starts at 10 a.m. with bagels and lox provided by the host. The discussion will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon and everyone is invited to stay and schmooze afterwards.
If you would like to participate, contact Ruth Brandwein at (941) 312-4786 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We alternate between non-fiction (beginning in October) and fiction, although the last two books are works of fiction. For each meeting, we have a facilitator (F) and a host (H). The list below is tentative and we are still working on getting additional facilitators and hosts. The Kirsches have offered to host either May or June. If you would like to volunteer as either a host or facilitator, please contact Ruth Brandwein, coordinator of Books & Bagels, at (941) 312-4786 or email@example.com.
